Despacito YouTube music video hacked plus other Vevo clips



YouTube's music video for the hit song Despacito, containing had over five billion dollars views, has been hacked.

More than a dozens of other artists, including Shakira, Selena Gomez, Drake and Taylor Swift are also affected. The original movies have been posted by Vevo.

The Despacito video has been removed, but the cover image had shown a group wearing goggles and pointing guns.

The hackers, calling themselves Prosox and Kuroi'sh, wrote "Free Palestine" underneath the videos.

Several of the fasteners remain live at time of writing.



Both Bebo and the background music video hosting service Vevo have been contacted for comment.

A Twitter accounts that apparently belongs to one of the cyber criminals posted: "It's just for fun, I recently use [the] script 'youtube-change-title-video' and I write 'hacked'. "

"Don't judge me personally I love YouTube, inches it added.
